My Baby Can Read, But It Doesn’t Mean We Knew What We Were Doing
I’m asked all the time what is the best way to teach my baby to read, I always answer the same, “just because my baby can read it doesn’t mean that we actually knew what we were doing.”
*What is the best way to teach my baby to read?
We just tried to give what almost all parents want to give their baby, a stimulating environment conducive to learning. OK now you’re probably asking “what the heck is that environment,” and that is a great question.

My Baby Can Read
Early learning and child development has come along way in recent years. We learn more everyday about how our brain develops and the affect our outside environment plays on that development.
*It’s All Changing, My Baby Can Read!
This has really started to play a big impact on changing the way we teach our children.
About a few years ago my husband and I had our first child (not her in the pic). We were plagued by the tremendous amount of effort that goes into raising a child, I mean holy cow it’s a ton of work.
*It’s so much work raising a child
I had know idea how parents could raise twins let alone 8 or more like some family’s today. I have been a preschool teacher and child psychologist and still wasn’t ready for the challenge.
When I thought how I was going to teach my baby to read, I new I had at least an advantage there, I mean I had been teaching preschoolers for almost 10 years.
However, I did want to my baby to read sooner than what has been traditional done.
I thought I could with my experience but like I said before, we really had no idea how to teach a baby to read, it just hadn’t been done as far as we knew.

Hello and welcome to my blog, I wanted to give new parents a resource when it comes to teaching your baby to read. I hope you find this information useful.
